Description

LMI is seeking a Principal/Senior Solutions Architect to develop and deploy a real-time asset tracking solution for the U.S. Department of War (DoW). The role involves overseeing the deployment of advanced RFID hardware, cloud computing, and software applications, ensuring compliance with DoD cybersecurity standards like RMF/Autoity to Operate. The architect will engage with military and DoD stakeholders, conduct technical reviews, and mentor junior staff. This position requires a Secret clearance and approximately 25% travel.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years in sales engineering, solutions engineering, software engineering, product management, tech leadership, or a related technical role.
Experience with deploying complex technology solutions to the U.S Army.
Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with the deployment, configuration, or testing of active and/or passive RFID hardware (including readers, antennas, tags).
Familiarity with the design, implementation, and/or management of satellite-based backhaul systems (e.g. Starlink, Iridum), secure VPNs, and/or LAN/WAN infrastructures.
Active DoD Top Secret clearance.
