Description
Microsoft Quantum is hiring a Principal Signal Integrity Simulation Engineer to lead end-to-end signal integrity simulation for next-generation quantum computing systems. The role develops and validates system-level models across room-temperature electronics, cryogenic infrastructure, Cryo-CMOS subsystems, packaging, and quantum hardware; drives architecture trade studies; establishes simulation methodologies and standards; and partners with cross-disciplinary hardware and systems teams. Candidates need a doctorate, master's, or bachelor's degree in a relevant field plus the corresponding years of technical engineering experience, along with extensive signal integrity, RF, electromagnetic, and simulation experience. The role offers a base pay range of USD 142,800–274,800 per year in the United States, with higher ranges for the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
