Early Warning is hiring a Principal Site Reliability Engineer to partner with development teams on application and infrastructure availability, resiliency, performance, scalability, observability, automation, disaster recovery, troubleshooting, and capacity planning. The role requires extensive experience in complex software environments, incident leadership, cross-functional technical leadership, and technologies including Python, Go, Java, Docker, microservices, messaging, databases, caching, Linux, and CI/CD. It is a hybrid position in Phoenix, Arizona, with a base salary of $194,000 to $237,000 per year, and does not offer visa sponsorship.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Computer Science or a related field
Required Previous Experiences: 12+ years managing large complex technical or software development projects
Leading teams through high-priority incidents and improving root-cause analysis
Hands-on experience designing and developing with Python, Go, Java, Docker, microservices, messaging, databases, caching, Linux, and CI/CD
Leading cross-functional teams to create technical solutions
Designing and building complex end-to-end systems
Preferred Qualifications: Programming skills in Java, Ruby, Python, JavaScript, or Go
Supporting applications in a 24x7 customer-facing production environment
Working knowledge of AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Swarm
