Description

Qualcomm is hiring an experienced SoC Architect to define and drive requirements for next-generation datacenter AI products, from card and server level through full rack. The role covers datacenter security, reliability, availability, serviceability, virtualization, confidential compute, and related hardware and software requirements. Candidates need a relevant engineering degree and substantial ASIC or hardware design experience, with a pay range of $200,000 to $300,000.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Master's degree or equivalent in Engineering or a related field
Required Previous Experiences: 10+ years of hardware design, testing, and commercialization experience
3+ years of experience working on datacenter-related products such as servers and accelerators
8+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with server SoC security and confidential compute
Participation in OCP Security Forum and Confidential Compute Forum
Experience defining RAS infrastructure at the server SoC level
Experience with PCIe protocols including SRIOV, SIOV, IDE, and TDISP
Knowledge of server SoC architectures focused on security, RAS, and virtualization
Knowledge of Ethernet protocols with emphasis on error recovery and virtualization
Ability to work with product marketing and datacenter customers to define requirements
