Description
Microsoft is hiring a Principal SoC Design Engineer for its Artificial Intelligence System on Chip (AISoC) Silicon team. The role focuses on high-performance, high-bandwidth AI accelerator designs, including IP microarchitecture verification, RTL design, SoC integration, clocking and resets, synthesis, static checks, and coordination with architecture, verification, and physical design teams. Candidates must have a relevant doctorate, master's, or bachelor's degree plus the corresponding years of technical engineering experience, or equivalent experience. The role requires Microsoft Cloud background checks and eligibility to access export-controlled information. The typical U.S. base pay range is USD 142,800–274,800 per year, with higher ranges for the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
