Description
loanDepot is hiring a Principal Software Architect to provide enterprise architectural leadership and hands-on prototyping for business-critical technologies, including microservices, cloud platforms, containers, observability, and AI/ML. The role leads technical strategy, creates reference implementations and tooling, embeds with engineering teams on complex initiatives, governs application standards, introduces platform capabilities, and resolves technology issues. It requires 10+ years in software architecture or large-scale systems, 5+ years of depth in a business-critical technology, and expert Microsoft and Azure stack experience. The position is based in Irvine, California or Plano, Texas, with four days per week on-site for employees within commuting distance of a hub office.
