Description
The Automation Software Engineer designs, develops, configures, validates, and troubleshoots high-performance automation software and hardware for microplate test kits, microfluidic assay cartridges, and other emerging products. The role leads software development for manufacturing and research equipment, supports new product development, manages project schedules, mentors staff, and improves manufacturing quality and capacity. It requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or computer science discipline, at least seven years of automation software design and programming experience, industrial hardware experience, and experience in regulated pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical-device manufacturing environments. The position is typically performed in a traditional office or remotely as needed, with an annual base salary of $116,600 to $177,800 and medical, dental, and vision coverage.
