Description
AspenTech is seeking a Software Development Team Lead to guide a high-performing engineering team delivering scalable, modern software solutions. The role provides technical direction, mentors developers, coordinates cross-functional work, aligns architecture and implementation decisions with business goals, and ensures quality through planning, code reviews, and hands-on leadership. Responsibilities include writing backend services in C/C++ and/or Lua, estimating development and testing effort, performing automated testing in an agile environment, participating in code reviews and pair programming, and contributing to agile ceremonies. The role requires a master’s degree in computer science or a related software engineering discipline, 8–12 years of experience, advanced C++ knowledge, familiarity with programming languages, systems, networks, databases, servers, application protocols, and information security, and fluent English.
