Autodesk is hiring a Principal Software Developer for its Autodesk Platform Services Developer Portal team in Canada on a remote basis. The role provides hands-on technical leadership across complex engineering initiatives, defines scalable and secure architecture, owns production systems and critical issues, improves developer workflows and platform self-service, and mentors developers. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, at least 8 years of professional software engineering experience, strong architecture and production-system experience, modern programming and cloud/API experience, and experience with AI-assisted development tools. The starting base salary for Canada-based roles is $131,000 to $191,400, with possible bonuses, commissions, stock grants, and benefits.
