MaintainX is hiring a backend platform engineering leader to set the technical direction, governance, architecture, standards, and AI-native workflows for a platform serving internal developers and engineering teams. The role involves cross-team technical problem solving, roadmap alignment, adoption of platform changes, mentoring senior engineers, on-call participation, and leading complex multi-squad initiatives. Candidates should have deep distributed-systems expertise, experience with cloud, infrastructure, CI/CD, GraphQL, event-driven systems, APIs, and developer experience, and strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, or similar languages.
