DriveWealth is hiring a Principal Engineer for its Post Trade Engineering team to lead the architecture, design, development, and delivery of high-performance, low-latency brokerage systems. The role involves Java/Golang systems, REST APIs, microservices, Kafka, Kubernetes, databases, CI/CD, automated testing, system integration, troubleshooting, and technical leadership. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, at least 10 years of software engineering experience, financial technology or capital markets expertise, and experience with highly available architectures and major cloud platforms. The role is available in Chicago, Austin, Dallas, Denver, Miami, San Francisco Bay Area, or Seattle, with hybrid or fully remote arrangements depending on location, and pays $250,000–$280,000.
