Description
Emerson is hiring a Principal AI DevOps Engineer to lead the design, delivery, and operationalization of AI-enabled solutions across software and firmware development, testing, release, and operations. The role combines architectural direction with hands-on development of scalable, secure, observable, and production-ready AI systems, including build and test triage, failure analysis, debugging assistance, release decision support, and internal developer platforms. The position requires an engineering degree, at least 8 years of relevant experience, and 3+ years developing AI-based applications, along with expertise in retrieval-augmented generation, agentic systems, workflow automation, enterprise AI platforms, and DevOps. It is a principal-level individual contributor role intended to drive AI adoption across large, multi-team engineering environments.
