Fivetran is hiring a Principal Software Engineer to lead its AI adoption initiative across the Engineering organization. The role combines adoption management, technical leadership, and business leadership to transform engineering practices, implement AI-powered coding tools and virtual engineers, establish guardrails and standards, manage a $1M+ tool budget, and demonstrate productivity and cost benefits. It is a full-time hybrid position based in Oakland, California, requiring 10+ years of software engineering experience and deep hands-on experience with AI development tools, LLMs, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
