Description
Baxter is hiring a Principal Android Software Engineer to lead architecture and delivery of shared Android platform capabilities for multiple clinical product applications worldwide. The role owns reusable services, libraries, hybrid WebView/React UI foundations, device connectivity, authentication, clinical workflows, camera and ML integration, and secure peripheral APIs; partners with product, systems, hardware, and clinical teams; establishes coding standards, testing, CI/CD, and release practices; and mentors senior and mid-level engineers. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, 10+ years of software development experience including extensive Android development, and experience in healthcare or regulated environments. The estimated base salary is $120,000-$165,000 annually, with a required minimum onsite schedule and no visa sponsorship.
