Apple is hiring an experienced Software Engineer to help develop and operate CloudKit, a massively scalable, privacy-focused distributed database platform. The role involves designing and supporting a multi-tenant platform, partnering with cross-functional teams, driving end-to-end project execution, deploying and scaling high-concurrency services, and investigating production issues. Candidates need extensive software development experience in Java, C, or C++, distributed database and network I/O expertise, concurrent programming experience, and a bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related field or equivalent experience.
