Description
Arlo is hiring Principal Software Engineers to build AI-native insurance products and internal platforms across underwriting, claims, premium finance, broker operations, member support, care navigation, and other insurance operations. The role owns full-stack products, backend systems, frontend experiences, AI workflows, retrieval and evaluation systems, and production deployments, working closely with operational teams to redesign workflows and eliminate manual work. Candidates should have deep experience designing and scaling complex software systems, strong judgment across product, engineering, and operational tradeoffs, and a track record leading ambiguous cross-functional initiatives; healthcare or fintech experience and strong UI attention are preferred. Compensation is $275,000–$300,000 base plus equity.
