Description
DigiCert is hiring a Principal Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and secure backend services for its trust and identity platforms. The role involves collaborating with product, architecture, and UX teams; writing maintainable code; conducting code reviews; troubleshooting defects; contributing to architectural decisions; and improving software development practices. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, at least 8 years of backend software development experience, strong Java and Spring expertise, RESTful service knowledge, database and cloud experience, Kubernetes and Docker proficiency, and familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD. The position does not provide visa sponsorship and offers a base salary of $160,000–$190,000 USD plus health, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits.
