Description
Genesys is hiring a Principal Engineer to own the multi-year backend strategy for Agentic AI products, including APIs, data flows, eventing, storage, consistency, multi-tenant isolation, reliability, security, and global-scale operations. The role leads technical standards, major migrations and architecture programs, performance and cost optimization, and the development of secure, reliable systems, while partnering with AI specialists and coaching Staff Engineers and technical leads. It is open to hybrid work from the Galway office or remote work within Ireland, with remote employees expected to attend the office at least two to three times per month.
