Global X is hiring a Founding Engineer to own the end-to-end design, implementation, deployment, and production of a proprietary investment platform operating on AWS. The role spans Java and Python service tiers, distributed and fault-tolerant systems, event sourcing, idempotent posting, real-time calculations, AI-native agent infrastructure, stakeholder partnerships, and technical standards. It requires 8+ years of production backend experience, strong distributed-systems expertise, cloud-native AWS engineering, and experience in a correctness-critical domain. The position offers a base salary of $230,000-$245,000 plus an annual bonus and hybrid work flexibility.
