HARMAN is hiring a Software Subject Matter Expert for Amplifiers to support automotive audio systems and drive vehicle-level solutions. The role bridges customers and internal engineering teams, participates in software design reviews and RFQ/RFI technical leadership, and resolves deep software issues involving customers, suppliers, and engineering centers. It requires 10+ years of automotive embedded software development in C/C++, experience with AUTOSAR, functional safety, cybersecurity, digital signal processing, RTOS, middleware, and related hardware interfaces, plus fluency in Japanese and English. The position is based in HARMAN’s local offices in Nagoya or Ariake and requires 20% travel.
