Leidos is hiring a Principal Software Engineer to provide advanced software engineering and technical leadership for complex mission software systems. The role involves designing, developing, integrating, testing, and improving software; coordinating with customers, systems and hardware engineers; recommending technologies and processes; and leading multiple software-development teams. The posting covers five assignment-specific technical profiles, including Linux and Splunk platforms, cloud and distributed data systems, full-stack application development, Python/C++ development, and Linux mission data-processing systems.
