Description
Mastercard is hiring a Principal Software Engineer for its Operations Automation Program’s DevOps team. The role focuses on automating and managing public and on-premises cloud infrastructure, containerized and virtualized systems, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code tooling, observability, reliability, and deployment operations. The engineer will work with global engineering teams, partner with stakeholders, and contribute to innovation, scalability, cost optimization, and operational excellence. The position requires 10+ years of software engineering and DevOps experience, including at least 2 years in technical leadership, along with strong Linux, cloud, container orchestration, Terraform, Ansible, Chef, CI/CD, scripting, and observability expertise.
