Matia is hiring a Principal Software Engineer / Software Architect to define and own the architectural direction of its unified DataOps platform. The role leads large-scale, cloud-native system design on AWS, establishes architectural standards, collaborates with executive leadership and engineering teams, mitigates technical risk, and mentors senior engineers and architects. Candidates need at least seven years of software development experience, including three or more years in architecture or principal engineering, along with expertise in distributed systems, AWS, TypeScript, Node.js, React, Python, databases, Kubernetes, and message queues.
