Description
Microsoft is hiring a Principal Software Engineer for its Industry Solutions Engineering team to design and deliver cloud-based solutions for strategic customers, develop extensible and maintainable code, lead dependencies and design documents, mentor engineers, and support product reliability and operations. The role requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field and at least six years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience. Preferred qualifications include a U.S. security clearance, a master's degree, or 12+ years of experience. The typical U.S. base pay range is USD 142,800–274,800 per year, with higher ranges for the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
