Microsoft’s Fabric Data Movement team is hiring a Principal Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and operation of a next-generation data movement and replication service. The role involves influencing product vision, managing and mentoring a team of software engineers, delivering high-quality enterprise products, and growing the engineering team. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical discipline, at least 12 years of technical engineering experience, mandatory experience in data integration, migrations, ELT, or ETL tooling, and at least 4 years leading teams delivering complex cross-functional features.
