Description
Microsoft is hiring a Principal Software Engineer for its Copilot Security Engineering team to lead the architecture and development of distributed systems and security-focused engineering capabilities for AI security. The role covers adversarial testing, model evaluation, telemetry pipelines, security mitigations, monitoring infrastructure, automated validations, threat modeling, observability, and secure deployment workflows. The engineer will also set technical direction, collaborate with security, research, platform, and product teams, and communicate strategy to leadership. The position is based at Microsoft’s Redmond campus with three days per week in the office and two days per week from home.
