Description
Microsoft is hiring a Principal Software Engineer to lead the architecture and hands-on development of a self-service infrastructure buildout platform for the IC3 Platform team. The role creates declarative service definitions, deployment pipelines, coordinated provisioning workflows, approval and recovery controls, and operational reliability across compute, networking, identity, certificates, monitoring, and capacity dependencies. The engineer will also develop AI-assisted engineering workflows, partner with Azure and Microsoft 365 teams, mentor engineers, and lead cross-team design reviews. The position requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field and at least six years of technical engineering experience, with additional experience and qualifications preferred.
