Description
Microsoft is hiring a Principal Software Engineer for its Windows Enterprise and Security (ENS) team in India. The role designs and ships foundational security and enterprise features across Windows client and server systems, including hardware-backed security, cryptography, identity and authentication, and enterprise management capabilities. Responsibilities include producing robust, testable, maintainable code; collaborating with Redmond and other Windows engineering teams; driving end-to-end delivery; and applying AI-assisted engineering workflows while maintaining security and quality standards. The position requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field and 12+ years of technical engineering experience, or equivalent experience, along with production software, debugging, and relevant security or systems experience.
