Description
Microsoft Digital is hiring a Principal Software Engineer to help define and build the next generation of agentic systems for company-wide developer productivity. The role focuses on AI-powered product features, agentic workflows, LLMs, vector stores, tool design, planning and execution, observability, reliability, security, and user experience. The engineer will own medium-to-large features end to end, develop backend services and APIs, mentor peers, and apply AI-assisted development practices and responsible AI principles. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field, at least six years of technical engineering experience, and hands-on experience building and operating LLM-powered agentic systems in production.
