Description
Microsoft is hiring a Principal Software Engineer for its Azure Event Grid engineering team to lead the design and implementation of next-generation Pub/Sub messaging solutions. The role owns technical architecture, scalability, reliability, and high availability; mentors engineers; leads design and code reviews; defines testing and CI/CD strategies; builds developer tools; and drives incident response and operational excellence. It also involves improving AI tools and practices across the software development lifecycle. The position requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field and at least six years of technical engineering experience, with additional experience and a master's degree preferred.
