Microsoft’s Entra End User UX team is hiring a Principal Software Engineer to lead the technical vision, architecture, and long-term strategy for the MyAccount and related identity and access self-service experiences, including PAM, MySignin, and MyAccess. The role focuses on AI-powered administration, platform modernization, cross-organizational influence, engineering excellence, performance optimization, and mentoring senior engineers. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and at least six years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, plus Microsoft and Microsoft Cloud background checks. The typical U.S. base pay range is USD 142,800–274,800 per year, with higher ranges for the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
