Microsoft is hiring a Principal Software Engineer to define the architecture and migration path for deployment configuration and policy capabilities across Microsoft Security, Azure, and partner platforms. The role will build secure, self-service control-plane capabilities, typed APIs, analyzers, build gates, diagnostics, upgrade paths, and reusable engineering practices, while partnering with .NET, Azure, CISO, and service teams.
