Description
Microsoft is hiring a Principal Software Engineer to help build and operate the Agent Connectivity Platform, which enables AI agents to discover, authenticate, and securely interact with enterprise and third-party systems. The role owns architecture, production services, connectors, connection lifecycle management, authentication, authorization, security, governance, reliability, observability, and incident response, while also influencing technical decisions and mentoring engineers. It is a hands-on individual contributor role requiring a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field and at least six years of technical engineering experience, with preferred qualifications including identity and access technologies, multi-tenant services, and generative AI development experience.
