Description
Oracle is hiring a Principal Software Development Engineer (IC4) to build AI-native engineering systems, cloud-native platforms, automation tooling, APIs, and operational intelligence. The role uses AI-assisted development, coding agents, agentic workflows, and intelligent automation to accelerate delivery, improve reliability and scale, and solve complex engineering and operational problems. The engineer will also contribute to architecture and technical strategy and mentor other engineers. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, at least five years of software engineering experience, and experience with distributed systems, cloud-native applications, APIs, CI/CD, containers, and modern development practices. The stated US hiring range is $114,600 to $234,600 per year, with medical, dental, and vision insurance among the benefits.
