Description
QAD is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead an agile engineering team responsible for building and delivering software for its adaptive, cloud-native platform. The role focuses on the runtime infrastructure for autonomous agents, including the Orchestrator, Reasoning Engine, Agent Runtime, Session and Memory Management systems, LLM Gateway, production reliability, sandboxing, audit trails, timeouts, and retry logic. The manager will guide a squad of five engineers, including one Principal Engineer, and is expected to use AI-native development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, and CodeRabbit. The position requires at least six years of backend or AI/ML engineering experience, two years managing a squad, production LLM systems experience, and expertise in agentic frameworks, MCP, prompt versioning, evaluation pipelines, agent testing, and responsible AI guardrails.
