Rocket Software is hiring a Principal Software Engineer – Change Data Capture & Data Integration to architect, implement, and optimize CDC and data-integration technologies across mainframe and distributed environments. The role involves developing software that reads and processes database transaction logs, reverse-engineering legacy systems, debugging complex reliability and performance issues, setting engineering standards, mentoring engineers, and supporting critical customer escalations. Candidates need significant mainframe software engineering experience, enterprise-scale database and CDC experience, strong systems-programming and troubleshooting skills, and a bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline.
