Description
ServiceNow is hiring a Principal Engineer in HRSD to set technical direction for model-driven HR capabilities, including agentic and conversational experiences that interpret employee, manager, and HR-agent intent, reason over HR context, and act on behalf of users. The role owns AI architecture, autonomy boundaries, instruction and tool-description surfaces, evaluation infrastructure, production quality and safety, AI-assisted engineering standards, and hands-on integrations and migrations. Candidates need 10+ years of software engineering experience, hands-on agentic and LLM experience, production migration experience, strong system-design and testing skills, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. The role offers a base pay range of $221,200 to $387,100 plus equity, variable compensation, and benefits.
