Snowflake is hiring a Principal Software Engineer to design, develop, and support fault-tolerant, scalable distributed systems for Snowgrid and Data Sharing. The role involves architecture and product-roadmap influence, performance and availability analysis, operational readiness, and mentoring junior engineers. Candidates should have 15+ years of experience building large-scale distributed services, strong computer science and operating-system fundamentals, and a BS in Computer Science; Java or a master's or PhD is preferred.
