AALTO is hiring a Principal Software Engineer in Farnborough for a full-time, permanent hybrid role developing safety-critical airborne software. The position focuses on designing, developing, testing, verifying, and maintaining embedded software primarily in C, with C++ and Python, across the full software lifecycle and aircraft certification activities. The role involves technical leadership, architecture and code reviews, debugging, test automation, mentoring, and collaboration with systems, hardware, test, certification, and flight operations teams.
