Veeva Systems is hiring a Principal Software Engineer to help found and grow a new AI-driven platform serving life sciences companies. The role owns full-feature development from design through production, collaborates on technical design, solves complex problems, establishes engineering best practices, conducts code reviews, and mentors engineers. It requires 12+ years of software development experience, production-level Python, enterprise SaaS and high-volume product experience, open-source proficiency, and strong communication and mentorship skills. The position is remote, offers medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance, and provides a base salary of CAD 180,000–275,000 plus potential bonus and stock compensation.
