Description
Level AI is hiring a Principal Backend and ML Infrastructure Engineer to set technical direction for backend and machine-learning infrastructure across multiple teams. The role owns real-time data processing, distributed messaging, ML training and serving infrastructure, GPU capacity planning, inference scaling, reliability, observability, and cross-functional technical planning. It requires 10+ years of backend and infrastructure experience, hands-on work with large-scale databases, messaging systems, and job queues, and a BTech/MTech/PhD in Computer Science or equivalent. The role reports to the VP of Engineering, partners with ML, Product, and Infrastructure leads, and includes health coverage and other benefits.
