Munich Electrification is hiring a Principal Software Engineer to define and implement the architecture for high-voltage battery system software. The role bridges requirements and code, establishes static and dynamic architectures, monitors system resources, enforces coding standards, and leads functional safety, cybersecurity, traceability, and architectural code reviews. The position requires an engineering degree, at least seven years of software engineering experience, two years of architect or lead experience, and strong C++ and C expertise with embedded microcontroller knowledge. It is a full-time role based in Munich with hybrid work and an option to work from anywhere for six weeks per year.
