loanDepot is hiring a Principal Software Engineer focused on C#, SQL, and Azure, with the role based in Irvine, California or Plano, Texas. The position leads the design, development, testing, and delivery of enterprise-grade software services and applications, with either a backend or frontend emphasis. It requires expert-level software engineering knowledge, including .NET/C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, REST, JSON, SQL and relational database design, software architecture, data structures, algorithms, testing, source control, and Agile methodologies, along with leadership, mentoring, and cross-team initiative ownership. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and at least 10 years of relevant technology experience are preferred/required, and mortgage-industry experience is preferred.
