Medtronic is hiring a Principal Software Engineer for its Device Embedded Systems group in the Cardiac Rhythm Management unit in Mounds View, Minnesota. The role leads the migration to GitHub Enterprise, adoption of GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development agents, AWS-hosted developer tools, CI/CD automation, source-control migration, and training of engineering teams. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline and at least seven years of work experience, or an advanced degree with five years of experience. It is a hybrid role requiring on-site work four days per week, with less than 10% travel, and offers a base salary of $152,800 to $229,200 plus benefits.
