Description
Cloudflare is hiring a Principal Engineer for its Enterprise Integrations Engineering Team in Austin, Texas. The role establishes technical strategy across multiple teams, leads complex cross-functional integrations, influences engineering practices, and builds AI-enabled systems including agents, evaluation frameworks, MCP servers, and workflow automation. The engineer will determine when AI is appropriate, establish evaluation and operational practices, and partner with business and technical stakeholders to convert ambiguous problems into measurable outcomes. The position requires substantial software engineering experience, backend proficiency, and familiarity with AI APIs, integrations, APIs, observability, cloud-native environments, serverless platforms, and CI/CD.
