Skillz is hiring a Principal Software Engineer focused on frontend engineering to lead architecture and development across Native Android and iOS, Web, and React Native products and SDKs. The role owns the React Native SDK experience for third-party game developers, drives frontend performance, accessibility, responsiveness, security, scalability, and maintainability, mentors engineers, evaluates technologies, and supports innovation. Candidates need 12+ years of frontend experience, modern JavaScript/TypeScript expertise, experience with a major framework—especially React—and experience delivering consumer-facing mobile experiences, ideally in gaming. The position requires working in the Bangalore office three days per week.
