FusionAuth is hiring a Principal Engineer to serve as a senior technical authority on customer identity and access management. The role owns production code, technical architecture, CIAM protocol implementation, customer-facing architectural guidance, emerging identity standards, deployment compatibility, and engineering mentorship. It is a hands-on position reporting to the SVP of Engineering & Technology, with a preferred Denver hybrid arrangement and remote eligibility with quarterly travel. The expected base salary is $225,000–$270,000, and the role requires a bachelor’s degree, 12+ years of professional software engineering experience, and 5+ years focused on identity, authentication, or security.
