Snowflake is seeking an AI-native Systems Architect to lead a 0->1 redesign of its core metadata and storage architecture for the Interoperable Data + AI Cloud. The role will build highly concurrent transaction frameworks, advance Apache Iceberg, create semantic metadata for AI agents, ensure fault tolerance and high availability, and own the end-to-end platform architecture and roadmap. Candidates need 15+ years of systems experience, deep expertise in database internals or large-scale state management, and a history of greenfield cloud-scale solutions.
