The role leads complex backend Java development, provides technical leadership and subject-matter expertise, guides code quality and testing practices, mentors developers, supports hiring, and reports to the Engineering Manager. Candidates need 12+ years of individual-contributor experience, strong Java and Spring expertise, AWS and database experience, application-security knowledge, and experience with messaging queues, profiling, observability, and production problem-solving.
