Microsoft is hiring a Principal Software Engineer for its M365 Networking team to design and implement routing, traffic-management, and load-balancing capabilities for Microsoft 365 infrastructure. The role focuses on building distributed, highly available, and resilient systems that support services such as Copilot, Teams, and SharePoint Online, while optimizing traffic distribution, improving performance and resiliency, and driving technical excellence through code reviews and architecture design.
